![]() November 2, 2000. Today we talked about credit cards in class. There's a pattern that everyone should know… credit cards are not good for the average American person. Because the people hear the word "Credit" they feel that when they use it they aren't spending real money. Studies show that people who carry around credit cards are more likely to spend more than people who carry around cash. You also asked how many of us have done our own taxes. I found it very interesting that not many people in our class have done their own taxes. I on the other hand do my own taxes, but I can't fill out a 1040 EZ like most college students. I have to fill out a 1040 (A) because I am constantly trading stocks which automatically puts me into a 1040. Funny story actually, I was bugging a friend's of mines father one night about outsourcing his taxes. He then turned around and challenged me to do his taxes, I of course don't back down to any challenge like that and accepted. Last year, along with doing my taxes, I did Robert Eisen's taxes. His were mildly more difficult having cashed twenty-five savings bonds prematurely and having two mortgages, the list of additional complexities goes on. In class we also talked about choosing out majors, I still haven't decided on mine, but because I already work in the accounting field I will most likely major in accounting or business admin. | Journal Entries September 7, 2000 September 12, 2000 September 15, 2000 September 19, 2000 September 21, 2000 September 23, 2000 September 26, 2000 September 27, 2000 September 28, 2000 September 29, 2000 September 30, 2000 October 2, 2000 October 3, 2000 October 4, 2000 October 5, 2000 October 7, 2000 October 8, 2000 October 9, 2000 October 10, 2000 October 11, 2000 October 12, 2000 October 13, 2000 October 15, 2000 October 17, 2000 October 18, 2000 October 20, 2000 October 21, 2000 October 24, 2000 October 25, 2000 October 26, 2000 October 27, 2000 October 28, 2000 October 29, 2000 October 31, 2000 November 1, 2000 November 2, 2000 November 4, 2000 November 7, 2000 November 9, 2000 November 10, 2000 November 12, 2000 November 13, 2000 November 14, 2000 November 16, 2000 November 17, 2000 November 18, 2000 November 21, 2000 November 22, 2000 November 23, 2000 November 24, 2000 November 27, 2000 November 28, 2000 November 29, 2000 |
